KCG is seeking Senior Systems Architects to support our team at the Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) Corona Division in Norfolk, VA.

The NCTE Program will provide solutions to the operational challenges that face today’s warfighter as well as the advanced concepts and doctrine that will extend American maritime dominance far into the future.

The NCTE is a global, interconnected network of simulation, training, and Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) systems that form a virtual range for experimentation and training involving Navy weapon systems. The NCTE has evolved into a powerful tool for assessing weapon systems, developing concepts for weapon systems employment, and validating such concepts on a distributed basis. It is also a powerful tool for combat system training using embedded and standalone training systems within the framework of Fleet Synthetic Training (FST) and LVC training.

Critical to this mission is the ability to develop real-world weapon system representations based upon existing and future maritime and joint weapons systems, to test and validate these concepts, and to incorporate them into the Navy’s core doctrine and its FST and LVC training capabilities.

Requirements:

• Thought leader in effective and efficient application of model-based systems engineering in a digital engineering environment.
• Knowledge of detailed technical studies, conducting analysis of current and future requirements relating to design, all phases of testing and fielding, mission effectiveness, and risk assessment.
• Specific knowledge and ability in the development of Business Case Analysis, Requirements and Design, Architecture and Design, and Test and Evaluation documentation.
• 10+ years of relevant experience including (5) years' experience with No Magic Cameo and Cameo Collaborator, DOORS, System Architect, JIRA, and Confluence
• Active DoD Secret Clearance required
