Description

Klett Consulting Group Inc (KCG) is a system engineering firm, headquartered in Hampton Roads. KCG provides specialized contract support in the areas of Test & Evaluation, Information Security, and Program Management to various Department of Defense programs.

KCG is seeking a Test & Evaluation Specialist to join our corporate team.

The Candidate is required to have the following personnel qualifications:

  • An undergraduate degree in Engineering or Science related field.
  • Documented proficiency in application of analytic methods to the solution of varied and complex defense test and evaluation issues demonstrating the application of decision support tools, and analysis grounded in objective techniques to provide decision makers with a quantitative basis for the evaluation of decision options.
  • Demonstrated and documented experience designing tests and experiments, determining measures of effectiveness, applying risk analysis, analyzing and interpreting empirical data, and obtaining objective data for acquisition decisions, evaluations, and system comparisons.
  • Demonstrated operational testing experience including the application of principles of DOE into development of operational test concepts, strategies and plans to provide an analytically derived, empirically supported, quantitative basis for decisions regarding the operational effectiveness, suitability and survivability of these systems.
  • Superior technical writing skills to draft unambiguous and concise test plans, test reports, and supporting documents.

The Candidate shall have the following experience within the last 5 years:

  • Demonstrate experience with Developmental Testing (DT) Integrated Testing (IT), Operational Testing and Evaluation (OT&E), and/or Follow-on Test and Evaluation (FOT&E)
  • Demonstrate experience relevant to warfare areas to support test and evaluation of assigned projects
  • Demonstrate experience in developing test criteria and Test and Evaluation Master Plans per DoD standards
  • Demonstrate ability to apply analytical methodologies to evaluate the operational effectiveness and suitability of combat systems, weapon systems, and combat support systems.
  • Possess U.S. citizenship
  • Be eligible for Secret or Top Secret Clearance
  • Demonstrate proficiency with MS-Office software
